Welcome to Five Course Trivia! Five days a week, we’ll post five questions about something from the culinary world, from soup to nuts and all dishes in between.

As a math person, I’ve been sitting on today’s category for a while. You can never know enough units of measurement in the trivia world, and hopefully these questions below will help you out. Given two units alphabetically, tell me which one is more, however that should be defined. Good luck!

1. Fifth of alcohol / Quart
2. Dash / Pinch
3. Fluid ounce / Jigger
4. Bushel / Peck
5. Balthazar bottle / Methuselah bottle
6. Cup / Gill
7. Decaliter / Deciliter
8. Fluid ounces in a cup / Ounces in a pound
9. 200 Celsius / 400 Fahrenheit

2. Dash (1/8 tsp compared to 1/16 tsp)
3. Jigger (which is 1.5 fluid ounces)
4. Bushel (which is 8 dry gallons, compared to 2 dry gallons)
