Welcome to Five Course Trivia! Five days a week, we’ll post five questions about something from the culinary world, from soup to nuts and all dishes in between.
It’s Thanksgiving week at Five Course Trivia, and we’re going to have Thanksgiving food trivia all week long!
Instead of asking questions, today is more of an informational. I’ve learned that one of the easiest questions you can ask about Thanksgiving trivia is which foods were present at the first Thanksgiving.
In a nutshell: they ate turkey and seafood, had no potatoes or pumpkin pie. Venison, corn, and nuts were certainly on the table. They might of had cranberries, but certainly not in sauce form. No sugar or flour to be had. Probably lobster.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! Tomorrow, in honor of Black Friday, we’ll have some black foods.
