9/9/2016 – Food Art

Welcome to Five Course Trivia! Five days a week, we’ll post five questions about something from the culinary world, from soup to nuts and all dishes in between.

So, in honor of the art/food question we had earlier this week featuring Manet and Bass Ale, here’s a fun art quiz for you.

California artist Hannah Rothstein (website seen here) created a series of artworks called “Thanksgiving Special” where plates of Thanksgiving food have been arranged to look like artworks of their own. The styles used on each plate are certainly reminiscent of the artist. So, given a plate of food, name the artist. Note that all of the artists are known for painting/sculpture, and that the last names of the artist are in alphabetical order. Good luck!
