3/9/2016 – World Wednesday – Brazilian


Welcome to Five Course Trivia! Five days a week, we’ll post five questions about something from the culinary world, from soup to nuts and all dishes in between.

On this World Wednesday, we head to South America for the first time and check out Brazil! When you want to get more questions, just turn your card over, and we’ll have a waiter come bring you some more questions.

5. As we covered in the “Coffee” episode, coffee is a huge product in Brazil, and it serves the national beverage. Name the most popular distilled alcoholic beverage, made with sugarcane juice. The fact it is made fresh from sugarcane sets the difference apart from rum, which is made from molasses.
